A frigid winter has arrived in Atreia, and a few Shugos have begun crafting magnificent ice sculptures for the Ice Festival in the capitals.
From December 22 to January 11, you too can learn how to make ice sculptures and receive numerous rewards for doing so.
But that's not all! There are also plenty of other things to discover during this time.
Ice Sculptures
In Sanctum and Pandaemonium, a few of the ice sculptures for the Ice Festival have already been completed. These are supposed to give you a buff, but somehow the Shugos in charge haven't quite got the hang of it yet, and sometimes there's a misfire. But don't worry, it's completely harmless!
Leonerk, on the other hand, shows you how to do it right. Every day, he gives you 164002294 so you can make your own ice sculpture. This one will safely buff you. Of course, that doesn't mean the other sculptures are unsafe.
To do this, carefully carve an ice block several times. Each step consumes a tool and there is a chance of breaking the ice block, but if you are successful, you will receive an instant reward.
If you run out of tools, you can find more in the Baruna Research Laboratory, Eternal Challenge, and Sauro War Depot instances in special toolboxes. And don't forget to ask Leonerk for new ones every day.
Aisunerks Gift
Aisunerk is in a generous mood and gives you 188054036 every day. All you have to do is talk to him.
However, he's not entirely altruistic. He hopes to motivate you to help him. Because he's all thumbs, he needs an incredible amount of ice to finish his statue. Malicious tongues even claim that he'll never manage it.
Every day, he'll ask you to do the following for him:
[Event] Ice Quartzes: Collect 5 cold ice quartzes from monsters in Signia
[Event] Heart-Shaped Ice Quartzes: Collect 3 heart-shaped ice quartzes from the bosses in the Akaron instances or the Eternal Challenge
[Event] Clear Ice Quartzes: Collect 5 clear ice quartzes from monsters in Vengar
For each of these quests, Aisunerk will reward you with another 188054036.
You can open the large Ice Festival Chest in the capitals after completing all of Aisunerk's daily quests.
From then on, you can complete [Event] Pure Ice Quartzes as often as you have collected 50 pure ice quartzes. You can always obtain these from 188054036 and the instances Tiamat's Fortress, Mantor, Baruna Research Lab, and Sauro War Depot.
In return, you will receive a key that grants you access to the contents of the ice chest 188054037, which may contain the following:
164002294 so you can make your own ice sculpture. This one will safely buff you. Of course, that doesn't mean the other sculptures are unsafe.
